.Although I am in my 21st year of teaching, this will be my first year teaching FACS. I am so excited to be the new FACS teacher for Mossy Creek and can not waiit to give my students the oppportunities to learn the life skills taught in this class. Coming from the academic side I know the stress and challenges placed on students, and more importantly, the need for them to have these connections classes as an outlet to explore their talents and creativity. 

  I have a love for watching students grow and learn, and I am hopeful they can do that everyday they are with me.

A little about me, I attended GC&SU for Middle Grades Education, and recieved my bachelors degree, then on to University of Maryland for my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and my last stop was Piedmont University for my Specialist in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessmnet. I am also Stem, Gifted, and most recently certified in Family and Consumer Sciences. I love spending time with my family, traveling, decorating, baking, and exploring new places and things. I know this will be a fantastic year of new experiences and challenges and I am here for it! I can't wait to be a positive role model and mentor as your child navigates Middle School!
